Do you ever get past the “swimming around” stage of the game? I was considering buying Spore Origins, but the demo made me think twice…Does anyone own this game?

I’ve bought it, and I’m not impressed.. I got through 17-18 levels the first day, and the only thing that ever really changed were the background colours and the size of you and those around you.. The gameplay didn’t change a bit.. Haven’t played it since..

I was wondering this…I downloaded the demo, and it gave a “preview” of the full game. It was essentially a video of the game. In the video, they didn’t show anything different than the amoeba stage…

I guess that’s why it’s called “origins”, you don’t go past this stage!

This game is gets old fast. Gameplay is repetitive until you get to level 29 and 30, which gets incredibly hard. Difficulty scale isn't linear at all.
