OmniFocus has been a godsend for me. Clean interface, good replication, no troubles.

Looks like another ToDoList manager. How does it compare to Remember The Milk, or To Do, or Evernote?

Well if you think of functions it does the same as RTM or ToDo. Evernote is IMO a very poor task management app.
What I personally don´t like about Omnifocus is that it is so slow, the UI is generic at best, and it can be quite sluggish.
I love the interfaces of RTM and Things.
Right now I use RTM after trying out Things, Omnifocus and Todo simply because it has all the functions needed and even more. The interface is beautiful and it syncs like a dream.

OmniFocus has recently been upgraded and performs quite smoothly now. I love the synchronization with my laptop and desktop. It’s my most used app on the iPhone.

I’ve been quite pleased with SmartTime by Left Coast Logic. The application does repeat the function of the native Calendar, but it mixes in ToDo’s with the calendar in a rolling SmartView showing them mixed in. You can reschedule ToDo’s by dragging them to another date, and prioritize them. Dates and ToDo items can be color coded to a project, so a visual check will show what is happening for a certain part of your agenda.

The program offers a weak Calendar display mode which will show a part of a day at a time with finger scrolling to see earlier and later times. Left-Right finger scrolling will show different days in chronological order.

A Focus display mode shows you what tasks and calendar items you have to Do Today as well as a Done Today list. The latter can be turned off at user preference.

Categories for agenda items and todo’s can be re-titled and re-colored to suit your needs but you are limited to 6 categories which is kinda small, but might fit into a simple GTD system.

Backup can be done to e-mail, although I haven’t done this yet. Restore from e-mail just sounds kind of problematic. YMMV.

You can set Work Time and Home Time periods so that you can split your tasks and schedule according to work place. The application is not location aware.

Overall, I think that this app has the possibility to be quite good for managing a GTD system. The lack of integration (Apple enforced, probably) with Calendar makes a big drawback, but the overall utility still makes the SmartTime application worth investigating.

Overall Rating: öööö 4 Rocks (Out Of 5)

The most money I’ve spent on a single iPhone app and completely worth it. OmniGroup is extremely detailed and thorough in developing their software. Great UI and syncs perfectly with my desktop client.

This is one of the best apps for the iPhone. A lot of apps could learn from e.g., how the selection from lists (projects/contexts) is implemented. And the synchronization works perfectly via MobileMe/WebDAV/WiFi, etc.
