NO SUCH THING FOR LOVING THIS APP

Hi! Is it possible to give an exact date to an expense in this version? If not, will it be possible in a future update?
And what about typos, can you correct (or delete) them?

Okay, so you copied Pennies, added a recurring feature, and changed the graphics. Not faulting you, it's a good idea. But the problem with Pennies was that: 1) no ability to edit expenses (date, amount, etc.); 2) no ability to customize categories; 3) no further development. Not sure about #3, but you have not addressed #1 or #2, either. And your repeating feature, while nice, is too limited for real use. Why must all repeating expenses occur on the 1st of the month? That is utterly unrealistic, and a finance app that does not reflect how people really use money is, well, ultimately a failure. I hope you can address these points and turn MoneyBook into what it *can* be, not just a re-skinned version of Pennies.

Well, it certainly looks better than pennies: http://www.freshapps.com/pennies/
But I agree with you that a finance app that is not customizable to how you budget etc, is essentially pointless. But they are close…

MoneyBook 1.2 is out now – full editing of all expenses means more usefull features with the most elegant GUI of any finance/expense tracking application on the iPhone.

Does it include budget rollover?

Moneybook 1.2 fixed a couple of things – you can now edit the date of an expense, and your note shows up as the title of expense. But it still has no "credits" or "deposits" feature, and doesn't let you schedule recurring expenses on different days. Budget has to be the same every month, and you cannot see breakout lists of all expenses in one category (you can, however, see how much you spent in each category via a bar graph). Also, we need to be able to make and name our own categories! Very pretty app. The prettiest, but I can't use it on its own, because it requires too much work to keep an accurate running total.

Is there a way to see "Daily History"? I know I can see "Monthly history" and "History by type"

I would love to be able to add and remove (or rename) expense categories. Baby isn't relevant to me, for example.
I really like this app – I'm finally able to manage my money month-by-month.

What I want is an APP that will allow me to download my finance data to my desktop and review it there. Just like Quicken for Palm Pilot did with the desktop version of Quicken. Will this do that? You can fix every bug it has and add a thousand other features, until it does that it is of no value, period.
