Why, oh why would you limit your application to national borders? I didn’t know this was even possible until I just tried to download your highly regarded app.

Yes, I understand that your food database is U.S. focused. That doesn’t mean your application would not be useful outside the U.S.

I spent several months using the website ‘myfooddiary.com’ which is also similarly U.S.-centric in its food database but found it very helpful in Canada.

I blogged about your unprecedented blocking of your product to Canadians here:

    http://tinyurl.com/c6s8nv

This will only generate ill-will. Please reconsider.

This is the single best app I have on my iPhone. I have used many, many calorie counting sites online, and none even come close to the ease and effectiveness of this app. I’m always on the go, and being able to enter what I eat when I eat it (as opposed to having to write it down and enter it on a cluttered website) is so helpful. I have entered basically all the foods I eat on a regular basis, and it even saves the meals together so you can add them with one touch. It is so quick and easy, the interface is great, I can’t say enough good things about it!

This is a very good app. I commented awhile back about the app, and I have an update idea to add. I have a daily calorie intake I'm suppose to consume from my nutritionist, but with the app, I'm not able to put in my specific calorie amount. I'm only able to use the daily calorie intake the app calculates for me. With the app, I would give the option to user to either add your personal daily calorie intake or have the app customize your daily calorie intake.

Other than that, keep up the good work!

The accuracy of the information in the database is not good. Chic-Fil-A 4 count Chicken Strips, its say 250 calories, companies website says 470. I tend to believe Chic-Fil-A. Also ALL of MacD's food is inaccurate, not sure who did thier research but they need shooting

If the database is inaccurate, WHAT IS THE POINT!!!!

I've found Lose It! to be a great application, it's a great way to keep track of everything you it (and it's calories). However, I would it to have the option of a dieting program with daily menus so I don't have to start figuring out what to eat next. I think that a guided program is the best help of all!

2008 FitNow, Inc made a bold move creating an iPhone app, and it has paid off tremendously. Many people find the $7 app well worth its value and providing users with a controlled system to manage their diets. More companies should follow the example of FitNow and create weightlifting apps, grocery list apps, and other helpful apps that make managing life easier.

I would love it if they added in features for breastfeeding mothers. A breastfeeding mother needs an extra 500 calories a day to compensate for all the milk making. It'd be great if they could factor that into one's daily caloric intake. Otherwise, I absolutely love everything about this application and have been using it non-stop since I installed it. I can't wait for them to add more restaurants, locally and internationally, but for now I can always add anything with the "custom food" options.
