DriveBAC is not a gag/joke breathalyzer app, nor is it a drink tracker, like all the others you see on iTunes. iDriveBAC is the only application that can actually tell you if you are too intoxicated to operate a motor vehicle.
Based on research from various scientific journals (see below), a neuropsychological exam has been designed to test a user’s reaction time and accuracy while intoxicated and then compare it with a baseline reading taken while the user is sober. As alcohol intoxication increases, reaction time increases and accuracy decreases. A score is then generated using a proprietary algorithm. A score between 85-92 correlates to 0.08 BAC.
