Developer Comments:
-To the people having trouble catching fish, you must be reeling slower than 50% speed to catch bass. Also use an appropriate lure. You also won’t catch anything if you leave the lure motionless. This is explained in the guide!

-The backgrounds are the best I can do with real locations until next summer when I will be able to go back there and record video of them. They ARE animated now with a 3D animated overlay. The other choice is to go full 3D but I wanted real images. The other fishing game uses prerendered backgrounds so it’s no different than this game except I combine it with an image of a real location because it’s a simulator not an arcade game.

-The other fishing games don’t even attempt to give you a boat or fish around different structure. For a $1 you can buy some animated water or for $3 you can buy a game with great challenging gameplay that requires some skill, a career mode and locations to unlock.
