BeenVerified Pros:

BeenVerified offers free background checks with a limit. These free background checks give the user an opportunity to try the app out and see if they have a need to pay for the unlimited service. Some of the features of this app is that it lets you search through your contacts list and run background checks on anyone. BeenVerified allows you to get information about a person from their e-mail address. This app will pull a lot of information about a person with a very minimal amount of information from the user.

BeenVerified Cons:

When I ran a background check on myself, with BeenVerified, I found that the information that came up was not current. In fact, the information that came up was at least 5 years out of date. I then used the app to look up a person that I know for a fact has a criminal record, and nothing showed up for that person. I was not impressed with the accuracy. It may be information that is not in their control but I can’t see paying to use this system for non-professional use.

BeenVerified looks good and functions good. With its simple design and minimal controls it allows the user to navigate with ease. The information that you get is not great but it is worth trying it for free. I recommend this to anyone that is running background checks as a professional.

- hard to see the reason pay for memberships

I give this a 7/10 for potential usefulness and ease of use.
