Move around longer documents using the page up/down buttons. These auto-page when the button is held down, making it easy to move around longer documents.

REMOTE SECURITY
Secure remote access by setting a username and password. And with guest access enabled, friends on your local Wifi network can browse your Public folder.

FILE FORMATS
- Most Microsoft Office document are viewable, including limited support for xml documents (Office 2007).

That puts Files lite in a Finder window. From Finder, click on File, then on Open Finder Window. Drag or resize one of the windows so you can view both windows on the screen at the same time.

I had files lite, and it worked ok. Then I got the full version, and now I can't get onto the same IP address that I had no problem with connecting before. So I am tempted just to go back to Files lite.

I found a subtle bug in wav file playback. If I play a 48KHz wav file containing a 2 KHz tone, the spectrum is different than if I play the same wav file through the ipod touch music library. There is no issue for 44.1KHz wav files. I be happy to help debug.

But, I still love the app. As soon as I hit the limit I'll probably buy the full app.

I entered my ip on my pc and it said it was invalid. Any suggestions. I typed http://192.168.0.108:8080. I also tried on NetDrive and it didn't work.

I have same problem now, was able to connect from PC and map PC folder, can see all the files from Iphone that were in there when I first connected but can't see any of the new ones. Get an error in Win Explorer when trying to connect to drive. Even tried to ping the IP 192.168.0.9 from three different PC's and none of them connect.
There appears to be something wrong with the FileLite server since multiple people are having the same problem. Reset router and cable modem but still did not work

Could use a slideshow feature. Otherwise, works as described and quite well. Thanks!

I have downloaded files lite to my mac and to my iPhone but can't figure out how to run it from either. Any suggestions?

    • http://AdultADD.info marcschwartzMD

I figured it out for the Mac: in Finder, click on Go, then on Connect to Server and enter http://192.168.0.1.101:8080. That puts Files lite in a Finder window. From Finder, click on File, then on Open Finder Window. Drag or resize one of the windows so you can view both windows on the screen at the same time. Then drag the file or folder on the second Finder window that you want to put on you iPhone to the Public Folder in the Files Lite window. Done!

No. this will only work with yours. My iPhone IP adress is 192.168.1.24

        so I type http://192.168.1.24:8080

It Works. Great App. Looking forwards to buy the full program

Nice little – free! – App for storing, reading or presenting files. And a good alternative to $6.99 Air Sharing.
